On Wednesday we held the reception for the seventh annual Cascade Print Exchange VII, a printmaking exchange where participants send in an edition of 15 identical prints and receive 13 prints from other artists in return. One full set of all submitted prints is retained at Oregon State University, and one set is used for exhibition purposes. I’ve submitted to this exchange for the past three years, and volunteered with it for the past two–it’s put on every year by my former printmaking professor, Yuji Hiratsuka.
